- 2026 - Awarded two SJSU Research Grant Academy grants on multi-agent decision-making under uncertainty and reinforcement learning-based control for autonomous systems (Summer 2026).
- 2026 - “A Data-Driven Analysis of Traffic Patterns in Downtown San Jose, California” accepted at IEEE Technologies for Sustainability Conference, USA.
- 2025 - Published multiple IEEE papers on multi-agent path planning, trajectory optimization, and AI in education (ICIRCE, IEEE Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering, CARS).
- 2025 - Awarded the SJSU Emerging Leaders Seed Grant Program.
- 2024 - Joined San José State University as Assistant Professor of Computer Science; founded the Autonomous Systems @ SJSU Lab.
- 2023 - Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science - Successfully defended dissertation and earned Ph.D. degree from UC Merced.
- 2023 - “Optimizing Curvature and Clearance of Piecewise Bézier Paths” published at IEEE ICCMA 2023.
